Mid-Year Resolution Renewal.

Mid-Year Resolution Renewal.

My new years resolutions started strong, and stayed strong for a fair few months, until Easter hit and they all went out the window. Showing myself I COULD do it was the hard part, now to get back to it.

Instead of waiting for January to come around again and empty promises to be made, I've decided for a 6 month-renew, mainly to kick myself up the bum to start again! A lot is changing right now, so now is the best time to change some bad habits I've got myself into as well.

  1. Firstly, tackling physical health; less crisps, more gym.
I'll stop hiding from the gym, start going to some gym classes and get back to eating healthier food. Healthier meals, slimming down of nice recipes, swapping crisps for fruit and veg etc. It all needs to be done.
  2. Secondly, the whole not taking my tablets things despite not speaking to my doctor about it needs to be addressed.
Signing up to a new doctors where I live now, speaking to them about no longer taking anti-depressants, and remaining where I want to be mentally needs to be addressed. I'm good for now, and I want it staying that way.
  3. Remembering to appreciate what I have, and the possibilities available.
As of late I had been feeling disheartened and down about everything. In the whole grand scheme of things, I'm really lucky. I got the chance to go to Universtiy, i've moved in with my wonderful boyfriend and I live in a really lovely place. Growing up I used to dream of living near fields and near animals, London-childhood problems or what. They're all just a short walk away now. I need to avoid focusing so much on the negatives instead.
Anyway, less time typing, more time acting!
